"Education is the most powerful weapon which   you can use to change the world". Nelson Mandela
Childcare for Ages 6 weeks - 12 years

Children are divided into seperate classrooms based on age. All age groups are empowered to "learn through play" individually and in groups. Naps, meals, and outdoor play are included in each room's daily schedule. We also offer before and after school care for 5-12 year olds, and Part-Day Pre-k for ages 3-5. Seasonal packages for school system breaks (Fall, Winter, and Spring) are also available.

Transportation

We offer transportation to most CMCSS schools in our immediate area, The transportation routes are based on the clients needs and the facility ability to accommodate.

During Fall, Winter and Summer Break we offer field trips to extend educational and fun experiences for our School Age children.

The Pre-K department uses field trips to enhance our curriculum through exploration.

Nutritious Meals

We provide a nutritionally balanced breakfast, lunch, and afternoon snack for each child in our care. We take the most important consideration of food allergies and sensitivities.

Classrooms and Curriculum

At LLU, we strive to provide an in house curriculum which is comprised of several resources including Creative Curriculum and A Beka Book & Common Core which are  comparable to the Montgomery County Pre-K standards for entrance into Kindergarten. Each of our classrooms has centers dedicated to Dramatic Play, Art, Science, Math, Music, Reading, Cognitive Development, and Individual & Group Instruction.

Assistance

We accept applications for children whose families benefit from Mid-Cumberland, Smart Steps, and NACCRRA benefits (Child Care Aware) for families in deployment.
